Ever since the Miami Dolphins released Odell Beckham Jr. on Monday, there has been league-wide speculation about a potential Rams reunion. The 32-year-old wide receiver, who previously won a Super Bowl in Los Angeles and has a good relationship with Sean McVay, was understandably seen as a potential depth option for the Rams in the final few weeks of the season.

So far, however, there has been no indication of interest from the Rams. When asked about it on Monday, McVay said that they haven't talked about targeting OBJ in free agency, per the LA Times' Gary Klein.

Beckham was released three days ago, and he cleared waivers on Monday afternoon. If the Rams still have not had a discussion about bringing him back, that likely signals a lack of interest in the former All-Pro receiver.

Rams News: Sean McVay Doesn't Seem Interested in OBJ Reunion

The Rams now have Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp back for their late-season run to the playoffs. Demarcus Robinson and Tutu Atwell have stepped up admirably in their expanded roles this season. OBJ would, at best, be the WR5 on this team as things stand now. The Rams focusing elsewhere instead is, therefore, understandable.

Beckham failed to live up to the expectations in Miami after being seldom used in the offense behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. He had nine catches for 55 yards and no touchdowns in nine games.

At the same time, he was solid in his previous stint with the Ravens in 2023. Therefore, he should probably get an opportunity elsewhere heading into the postseason. A few Super Bowl contenders like the Chiefs, Lions, and the Eagles could potentially be interested in another pass-catcher but whether they look OBJ's way remains to be seen.
