Dodgers rumors indicate that they are interested in acquiring former World Series Champion and two time National League Cy Young winner Tim Lincecum.

Last year’s second-best pitcher on the Dodgers, Zack Grienke, was lost this year to the rival Arizona Diamondbacks.

Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke were one of the most talented duos in all of baseball in 2015 and were shooting for the stars.

Yet those stars came down on them like meteors, as neither got a championship, as they wanted with the Dodgers.

Grienke decided in the off-season to explore the free agency market, which is how he landed in Arizona.

He went there partially because he wanted more money as in six figures from that organization who could afford that, while the Dodgers did not have enough money because they had all-star talent on this team which took up cap space.

Would Greinke have stayed?

Better yet, would the Dodgers have a chance to win the next World Series?

He did have an outstanding season with the the team last year; regular and postseason.

A loss in this caliber pitcher is hard-hitting (pun intended).

It is in the beginning of the 2016 season and the Dodgers are doing okay.

Could they be missing something or missing someone?

With Greinke gone who could replace him or come in and perform at a higher level than him?

There are rumors free agent and former San Francisco Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum could play for LA.

He helped win three World Series with the Giants and in part turned them into a dynasty — imagine if he could do that in Los Angeles.

He could help the Dodgers get over their hump of making the playoffs with all-stars but not finishing the season with the correct result.

According to Sports Illustrated,  many teams are interested in Lincecum, such as the the rival Giants and they would take him back but only as a closer, but he wants to be a starter.

On Friday, May 6, he will have a showcase in Scottsdale, Arizona in front of scouts from multiple teams.

He hasn’t pitched in almost a year due to hip surgery and is 31 years young.

With other league rivals such such as the San Diego Padres and Chicago Cubs interested this could not be more perfect timing for the Dodgers to pitch to him why they want him in L.A. and how they can win the World Series this year.

The Dodgers spent all this money in the off-season just to miss their end goal of winning it all and then some of those players they spent the money on leave after one season.

Lincecum brings that experience and can help the organization and players win the jackpot.

He is a versatile pitcher and can play at moment in time of the game and deliver for the team.

Them playing together in the same game that is a dangerous duo more so then Kershaw and Grienke last year.

Lincecums nickname is “The Freak,” it is time for the Dodgers to switch the way the run this team and sign him.

Yes he slipped off the radar that is why he is having a showcase as a fee agent, yet what makes him special is his delivery; players may have figured him out or have they, plus it has been awhile since he has been dominant in the league.

Change is good and he would change things up because he is not your average pitcher; he is a different breed of pitcher; he is “The Freak.”

With the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Lakers making moves this couldn’t be more absolute perfect timing for the Los Angeles Dodgers to make a move and we will see L.A. sports back at its prime this year and to come with all these moves.

The Cubs and Giants are favorited by many to win the World Series and picking up Lincecum could be the difference make for the Dodgers not only in the National League but in all of MLB.
