Clippers Big 4 All Reach Double-Digits in Same Game
The Clippers “big four” reached 20 points each for 1st time in same game ever in career.
These four Clippers who all reached 20 points in the same game are Chris Paul, J.J. Redick, Blake Griffin, and DeAndre Jordan.
Three out of the four Clippers leaders recorded double-doubles. Additionally, one of those players was one assist shy of a triple double.
Los Angeles dominated the Wizards in a high scoring game.
The Clippers earning a victory helps them in playoff seeding. If they want home court advantage in the playoffs they must win their last six games.
Lob City is still 1.5 games back of the Utah Jazz. The way the season has been going for LA, it looks like they are going to play the Jazz in the first round.
However, there are a few scenarios that could change to make that not happen. LA has clinched a playoff berth and the worst they can end up being in the playoffs is a 7 seed.

Which means they would play the Spurs if all the bottom seeds win the rest of their games.
It might be in the Clippers best interest to win some, lose some and hopefully end up as the sixth seed to avoid the Jazz. However, then that means they could play the Rockets in the first round. Now that would be a fun rematch of the quarterfinals.
Lob City earned a tough victory against Washington and well deserved. They had help from many teammates. Blake Griffin was one assist shy of a triple-double showcasing his talents, while Jordan and Paul also had double-doubles.
Paul dropped 13 assists along with his 27 points while Jordan grabbed 18 rebounds and scoring 23 points. Additionally, Griffin grabbed 10 rebounds, scored 26 points, along with 9 assists.
J.J. Redick was the leading scorer for Lob City with 31 points.
Additionally, Lob City needs performances like this from everyone not just their big 4 in the playoffs, if they expect to win it all.
Despite inconsistencies the Clippers found a way to win. They are hopeful this momentum will carry into the playoffs.
