Lakers Rumors: Possible Trade Packages for Brandon Ingram
By Jason Reed
In what is my favorite deal of the entire slideshow, we see the Lakers acquire Celtics duo Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley in turn for Brandon Ingram, Nick Young, and the 28th (or so) selection of the Houston Rockets. This deal would give the Lakers so much depth and would improve the team in both positions being moved.

Of course, this deal would need Nick Young to accept his player option, but in the real world, I see a better candidate for trade being Jordan Clarkson. Regardless of who the Lakers deal, this gives the flexibility in the draft to get both Lonzo Ball or Josh Jackson, improving not only the starting five but giving the Lakers much needed depth.
Avery Bradley is hands down one of the best defending guards in the league, add in his 16.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists and the Lakers are effectively getting a player that can thrive both ways, something they currently lack.
Jae Crowder is no chip off the old block either, as he is still growing and averaging 13.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game.
Because of the defensive improvement in both men, the Lakers are effectively improving in both the forward and guard position. Add in that Rockets pick and now the Lakers are only making their team better, something that picks alone would not have accomplished.
The great thing too is Avery Bradley and Jae Crowder are seemingly only getting better, so they are still giving themselves a high ceiling to develop, much like they are with Brandon Ingram.

Although Lakers fans may not want to give on Brandon Ingram already, with the future Lakers rumors it may be the best thing to do to cash out while his value is high. Therefore, out of all the trades within the Lakers rumors, dealing Brandon Ingram may be the most plausible.
