Lakers Rumors: Possible Trade Packages for Jordan Clarkson

When I saw this trade appear on the trade finder I was very shocked, and quite frankly, there is about 1% chance that this deal actually takes place. The only instance in which I see this deal take place is if the Clippers are trying to free up cap space to bring back Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, but even still seeing this deal take place is highly unlikely.

Obviously, this deal would be an absolute steal for the Los Angeles Lakers. They would effectively be trading low impact players, and a draft pick they don’t necessarily need for one of the best big men the game has to offer. In a real world setting the Lakers would need to give up more picks as well, but even that is an absolute steal for the purple and gold.
Jordan is hands down the dominant center the Lakers need to flip the page in the franchise. This year alone Jordan is averaging 12.7 points and 13.8 rebounds per game.
Plus, after this season, Jordan will own five of the top 11 single-season field goal percentages, showing his reliability underneath the basket.
As unlikely as it is, this deal would be a hands-down win for the Lakers. Any Lakers fan that says this deal is not worth it is not seeing the entire picture, as Jordan would be a huge upgrade not only at center but give the Lakers that star the team always needs.
