Lakers’ Nance Jr. rolled up to the top 10 dunks of the season since his NBA draft pick in 2015. Since his 27th draft pick, he became notorious for his extraordinary dunking skills over the other players.

Although he did not outperform his Lakers’ teammates on dunks during his rookie career, he managed to change his notoriety during his second 2016-17 NBA season. He managed to outperform his teammates by shooting up the top 10 dunks.

His win-lose average of 2-6 was also not in the way of his outstanding dunking skills.

The Ohio native’s outstanding dunking skills shined while shooting against the Brooklyn Nets’ Brook Lopez. He averages over seven points, about six rebounds, almost 2 assists, over one steal, and about one block per game all in a total of 63 games within his sophomore 2016-17 season.

If that’s not all, well his stats per game also shine like a rockstar with about 53 percent on field shots and about 28 percent on three-pointers within a jump that lasted about 20 to 23 minutes. He can also prove to all his potential of making over a quarter of the points within this season alone.

To top it all, he even made his record of 10 out of 36 within four out of the his six games. He has also proved his position as the defensive player with his role especially as the defense quarterback and pick and roll.

With all the stats gearing up on Nance Jr., he now sees himself as a genuine defense and with very noticeable dunking skills which will have more potential in the next Lakers’ season. Not to mention him being the first in NBA history to adopt a teammate as a son.

More from LA Sports

Both Lance Jr. and Ivica Zubac have played side by side as far as to competing for the dunks. There was an instance where Zubac dominated one of Lance Jr.’s dunks.

However, they will go separate ways temporarily as Zubac returns to his home country, Croatia, for an early start to his vacations. Only time will tell on Zubac’s refining of his competitiveness with his “father” on dunks upon his return.

Nance Jr. made several expressions about himself and his dunking abilities on the exit interviews. He also noted on Zubac’s adoption as a son and his ability to compete for dunks.
