Clippers rumors: Jerry West and LA have mutual intrest
Recent Clippers rumors include a basketball legend wanting to possible work with Lob City.
The legend in these Clippers rumors has helped build the Lakers to a dynasty and win multiple championships. Then he went on to help build the Warriors to a championship team as well.
According to the LA Times, Jerry West is this legend who has a mutual interest in working with the Clippers. Is West the answer for the Clippers to stay together, acquire a superstar, and make a championship title run? The answer this is unknown unless he agrees to work with LA.
Almost the whole Clippers team is heading into the free agency market. However, if Jerry West agrees to come to LA could he be the real X-factor that causes all the players to decide to stay? I would have to say yes.

I say yes because they would he realize he has helped other teams make championship runs. West has helped them reach the championship even with the tension in the locker room.

The tension in the Clippers locker room could be diffused by him joining LA. Additionally, even if any starters do leave and West does come; then it proves the Clippers have a bright future.
Everyone knows they are entering the rebuilding mode this upcoming season. Additionally, Jerry West could offer a trade from the Warriors to the Clippers if and when he joins LA. West could bring some Warriors free agents to LA.
For example, one person who can come with him is Andre Iguodala. The small forward position is the spot they are going to need to fill the most. Also, Andre can play shooting guard as well.
Once again Andre would be a great player to have on the team since he has won a championship with the Warriors. Lob City wants a championship, yet the problem is the tension between the players.
