Weeks 14-17

Week fourteen: Redskins at Chargers

This will be a very interesting game for the Chargers, and for the fans to watch. The Chargers and Redskins match up really well talent-wise and will produce a back and forth game that will go down to the wire.

With the Chargers being at home, they will likely be able to edge the Redskins out with a game-ending drive led by Philip Rivers. 30-27 Chargers. (8-5)

Week fifteen: Chargers at Chiefs

The Chargers will head to Arrowhead Stadium in week fifteen to square off against the Kansas City Chiefs. Every year the Chiefs seem to get hot towards the end, often blowing through the opposition.

The same problems that the Chiefs had in week three in Los Angeles will still be evident in week fifteen. However, Kansas City will adjust to the Chargers offense and give their fans something to cheer about at home. 33-20 Chiefs. (8-6)

Week sixteen: Chargers at Jets

More from Los Angeles Chargers

This will be the second time the Chargers head to New York to play at MetLife Stadium. The first came in week five against the Giants, which according to our predictions, ended up in a loss. Despite likely being jet lagged, this game will not have the same result for the Chargers.

First of all, the Giants are a considerably better team than the Jets. The Jets have their own quarterback issue to deal with, with no real good candidate available. At the end of a hopeless season, this should be an easy win for the Chargers. 21-10 Chargers. (9-6)

Week seventeen: Chargers at Raiders

To wrap the season off, the Chargers are heading to Oakland to square off against the likely division champions. At this point, the Chargers will very much be in playoff contention with a 9-6 record.

However, despite having something to play for, the Raiders will likely still overmatch the Los Angeles Chargers. This year seems to be Oakland’s year, as tough as that is to say. 21-17 Raiders. (9-7)

Next: The Chargers will win the Battle of LA

A 9-7 record is not that shabby considering the team has combined for that many wins in the past two seasons. While these Chargers rumors and predictions may seem far-fetched, the team has a reinvented offensive line and a deep receiving core. With Philip Rivers at the helm, anything is possible.
