1. Oklahoma City Thunder

The best place for Blake Griffin is back home. Not only is this a feel-good story for Griffin, getting to play in his hometown of Oklahoma City, it actually is a fantastic pick up to play alongside Russell Westbrook.

More from Clippers Rumors

To get this signing done, the Thunder would likely have to get rid of Enes Kanter. The Thunder can do so by packaging Kanter and Domantas Sabonis in a trade for someone of lesser value and a future first round pick. This would help the Thunder in their future and would open up a spot for Blake Griffin to play.

Bringing in Griffin alongside Russell Westbrook would cause a deadly duo in the Eastern Conference. Griffin has played his fair share of minutes with a ball dominant guard and would give the Thunder a much better matchup against the best in the West.

At this point, unless you are a Golden State Warriors fan, you are likely rooting for Russell Westbrook to come back and somehow, someway, dethrone the Warriors. No betrayal has ever felt as personal as Kevin Durant’s betrayal of Westbrook, and to dethrone these Warriors, Westbrook needs help.

The perfect help could come in Blake Griffin. Not only is this a great fit for the team, it gives Griffin a chance to go home; something he may not be able to pass up.
