For UCLA Basketball, it’s time to move on from the fun season of Lonzo Ball.

What a time it’s been for sports fans over the last year or so. Following a March Madness run to the Sweet 16, the Lonzo Ball-led Bruins are ready for life without their star point guard.

Making ready for his huge impact on the Los Angeles Lakers, there are things that UCLA must figure out to be able to do well next season. Not only will they be without Lonzo, but they’ll have one of his younger brother, LiAngelo.

For Big Baller Brand and their father LaVar Ball, this will be an even more pivotal move for the family, the brand, and the road ahead. Getting Lonzo Ball to the Lakers was the first move for the Ball family.

Getting LiAngelo and LaMelo past college basketball and into the pros is the next big thing for LaVar Ball. This is important because if we thought that he was loud for Lonzo’s time at UCLA, imagine how he’ll be knowing that the same effort and same process got his eldest son the dream job of playing for the Lakers.

In reality, we have to be honest with the fact that we probably haven’t even seen the best of LaVar Ball. While he’s definitely controversial at times, the heart and pride that he has in his kids and their abilities isn’t seen anywhere else in sports.

If LiAngelo has anywhere close to the impact that his brother did in Bruin blue, then the Ball family might really be on to something. This is important and worth writing about too because the success of the family business has a direct impact on Lonzo Ball.
