LA Angels: Halos regain control of second wildcard spot
Once again the LA Angels earn victory by coming from behind.
The LA Angels have done this multiple times this season, hence this time not being the first.
They have been winning in the fashion before they acquired star players such as Justin Upton, Even after acquiring him and Brandon Phillips they still have been winning this way.
LA keeps finding a way to grind with the players they have in the clubhouse. They have been rallying together to earn victories. This rallying has been noticed as they are now in the second wild card spot for the playoffs in the American League.
Last night just continued their success of making a run in time for the playoffs. C.J. Cron hit a walk-off RBI Triple in extra innings to lead the Angels to their 72nd win of the season.

LA had less hits to their counterparts 9 to 13, yet found a way to make the most of their hits. Another area in the game the behooved the LA Angels is they only left 11 people on base to their opponents 25.
Both teams walked hitters six times. LA made the most of their 37 at bats, which is three less than the Oakland Athletics. Pitching for and by both teams was crazy as they each used at least 7 pitchers the entire game.
Garrett Richards was the starting pitcher for the LA Angels competing through 3.1 innings. The remaining pitchers who played pitched for at lest one 0.1 innings. Fernando Salas pitched the second most innings at two. Salas allowed one hit, one run, one error, and two strikeouts.
Richards allowed four hits, one run, one error, one walk, and had three strikeouts. He had the slowest era out of all Angels pitchers at 1.13. Salas had the third highest at 5.54.
It seems as if the Angels gathered all the correct players just in time for the playoffs. Additionally, it has been paying off as they are back in the wild card spot if the playoffs were to start today.
Billy Eppler and Mike Scioscia seem to be turning things around compared to last year. Let us not speak too soon. For now the Angels need to take it one game at a time, keep winning and they will make the playoffs.

What is even crazy is they can win their division, but it is a long shot, although still possible.
