2. Rams drub Seahawks
In a sort of changing of the guard in the NFC West, the Los Angeles Rams drew one step closer to their first playoff appearance since 2003 by destroying their rival Seattle Seahawks.
The Rams were in the midst of a turnaround season having won just four games in 2016 their first year back in Los Angeles after a twenty-year absence.
A win in Seattle would almost guarantee a division title win and home-field advantage for at least one playoff game. The Rams responded to the challenge by routing the Seahawks 42-7.
The Rams were led by running back Todd Gurley who ran for 118 yards and caught 10 passes for 158 yards and two touchdown catches.
The win signifies that the young Rams were now in the conversation as one of the best teams in the NFL.
