Los Angeles Rams: Free agent targets to pursue this offseason

Los Angeles Rams free agent target: Wide Receiver Jarvis Landry
One of the biggest points of emphasis for the Los Angeles Rams prior to the 2017 season was surrounding second-year quarterback Jared Goff with as many tools as possible to succeed. Thus, the Rams picked up two receivers and a tight end in the draft, traded for Sammy Watkins, signed Robert Woods and brought in All-Pro left tackle Andrew Whitworth to protect Goff.
Heading into this offseason, that may no longer be a concern. However, Goff’s second-leading target in the receiving core, Sammy Watkins, is a free agent. If Watkins walks, the Rams are going to have to turn to a different free agent receiver. That receiver is Jarvis Landry.
It is almost a foregone conclusion at this point that Jarvis Landry is going to walk away from the Miami Dolphins. Landry has not been shy in sharing his frustrations over contract talks with the Dolphins. This all seems to be a slow boiling fued that will result in Landry signing elsewhere.
Thus, the star receiver may look to head to a contending team, something he has not been a part of in Miami. The Los Angeles Rams, luckily, are one of the few contending teams with a need at receiver. Landry fills Watkins void, lines up at wideout alongside Roberts Woods and gives the Rams one of the most dangerous passing games in the NFL.
Landry, Woods and Cooper Kupp would be the top three receivers for the Rams. LA already has a high-flying offense, why not turn it into perhaps the best passing offense in the NFL?
