SF – Brandon Ingram

Brandon Ingram is the future of the Los Angeles Lakers at small forward, which makes it surprising why the likes of George and LeBron James have been tied to LA. What the Lakers really need moving forward is a shooting guard, hence why George was slated for the two and Ingram stays at the three.

Ingram has already made a huge leap from his rookie to sophomore season may even be flirting with all-star caliber as early as next season. On the year, Ingram is averaging 16.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. Ingram is the clearcut leader of this young Lakers’ team and has shown an immense gain of confidence.

Ingram is only going to get better and, alongside Lonzo Ball, can form something special in Los Angeles. If Ball and Ingram progress as they should, the Lakers could have a superstar big four on their hands that mirrors that of the Golden State Warriors.

The Lakers should avoid moving Ingram’s position or doing anything that may disrupt his strong play and progression as a professional basketball player. For that, we keep him at the small forward position.
