3. Kyle Kuzma will be the Sixth Man of the Year

If Kyle Kuzma is going to play such a huge factor in the Los Angeles Lakers winning a lot of games next season then is he obviously going to deserve some hardware. However, Kuzma won’t make the cut for any of the All-NBA teams, especially coming off the bench. Thus, one award obviously makes a lot of sense.

Sixth Man of the Year.

If Kuzma is really going to have the impact that we expect and that he should have, there should be no debate whether or not he is the Sixth Man of the Year.

He is going to receive starting-like minutes and probably will be third or fourth in the team in total minutes played, close to starting point guard Lonzo Ball; all due to Kuzma splitting time between both power and small forward.

At just under 30 minutes per game, Kuzma is going to have a pretty big workload off the bench and is going to be a consistent producer for the Lakers. Fifteen points a night is practically a guarantee as are six rebounds and an efficient scoring clip.

That alone would be enough to get him into the discussion. However, that is just the floor for Kuzma, who is going to thrive and have an even better year than his breakout rookie year.
