1. Who is the AFC West’s best team?

The Los Angeles Chargers-Kansas City Chiefs game is arguably the best game of the week 1 slate and should be watched by all hardcore NFL fans. Not only is this game going to be one of the most entertaining, it has the most questions surrounding it and will set a precedent for the rest of the season.

With the Denver Broncos not having a great offense and the Oakland Raiders being a disaster under new head coach Jon Gruden, it is safe to say that the AFC West will be a battle of two teams. While the Broncos could have a shot to potentially sneak into a wild card spot in the weak AFC, the Chargers and Chiefs will be the top two teams in the division.

This game will help set the tone on who really is the more talented team this season. While winning this game does not guarantee a division title, it will answer plenty of questions regarding two teams that have the potential to high very ceilings or a very low floor.

The Chiefs will sink or swim depending on Mahomes. The defense is not the greatest and the Chiefs can only rely on Kareem Hunt so much.

The Chargers, on the other hand, are coming off a season in which they were coached poorly at times and blew certain games down the stretch. While the team has the talent to succeed, that means nothing if the team cannot close out close games down the stretch.
