3. Corey Seager

The Corey Seager slander this offseason has been absolutely ridiculous. Seager did terrible in the NLDS, there is no denying that. Seager went 3-20 in the NLDS with eight strikeouts, which included going 0-8 with runners in scoring position.

If Seager was a .250 hitter with runners in scoring position in this series then maybe the Dodgers would be World Series Champions right now.

But he wasn’t. He had a bad series and now there is a large portion of fans that want to see Seager traded. The big rumor was a trade for Francisco Lindor, but even without Lindor, the Seager trade speculation has been high.

This is coming off a year where Seager tied for the league-league in doubles while hitting .272 with 19 home runs and 87 RBIs. We know he can do better and this was a down year, but the fact that this is a down season for Seager is a testament to his skill.

Bellinger had a sophomore slump bounce-back season this year and Seager is going to have a surgery slump bounce-back season in 2020. Like Bellinger this year, Seager is going to reaffirm himself as an MVP candidate in the National League.

Missing nearly an entire year without getting the chance to step into the box and face MLB pitching is not a hard thing to recover from.

But because of that, a lot of fans are doubting what Seager is capable of in 2020, which is why he is going to surprise every single person that requested that he be traded.
