The Los Angeles Rams are going to make some changes this offseason. Despite going 10-7 and winning the NFC West, they were sent home in the Divisional Round by the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Rams have turned the page over to the 2025 campaign and will seek to make some changes to the roster. Cooper Kupp posted on social media that the team was going to find a trade partner for him after spending eight seasons with the team.

The next biggest question is around Matthew Stafford and his future with the team. He has a $49 million cap hit in 2025 with a base salary of $23 million but none of that money is guaranteed. Stafford is looking for an extension with guaranteed money from Los Angeles. If not, he could be asking for a trade.

FOX Sports Colin Cowherd revealed a surprising nugget regarding the Stafford situation on Thursday's episode of "The Herd". He revealed that the Rams want the Giants No. 3 overall pick in exchange for the Georgia product.

Rams Rumors: Rams Seek Giants Third Overall Pick for Matthew Stafford

Cowherd said, "What the Rams want, I am told, they want the Giants’ first-round pick at No. 3...The Rams want that No. 3 pick in the draft because they’re drafting way later. They want to take that pick, move down, and get more picks. Why? So they have extra picks next year when they have to move up to get a quarterback.”

He added, "This sounds crazy, the Matt Stafford to the Giants thing is real, I’m told. I’m told they like Matt Stafford, but he’s old. … Rams want inexpensive, rental quarterback for one year."

He even floated that Aaron Rodgers could be an option for Los Angeles in 2025. More speculation regarding Stafford to the Giants picked up when New York hired Stafford's brother-in-law, Chad Hall as their assistant quarterbacks coach.

While it's early in the offseason and rumors are flying around, many Ram fans would like to see Stafford back for the 2025 season.

Over four seasons with the Rams (57 games), the two-time Pro Bowler has completed 65.7% of his passes for 14,700 passing yards, and 95 passing touchdowns.

He has given this franchise a stable and effective signal caller under center, but rumors have started circulating that he would end up in New York.
