Yep, you guessed it.  Not much of a statement saying Kobe Bryant’s best game as a professional was his 81 point performance against the Toronto Raptors.

More from LA Sports Hub

The stat line for this game: 81 points, 28-46 shooting, 7-13 three’s, 18-20 free throws.

The 81 points is the second most in an NBA game in NBA history.  Of course, 1st is the 100 point game from Wilt Chamberlain.

As mentioned on the last game on this list, the 05-06 season was Kobe’s best, stat wise.

Remember the question I asked for the Mavericks game, what could Kobe have done if he played the 4th?

This game came a little more than a month after that game on January 22, 2006.

More from Kobe Bryant

Kobe proved that he is one of the best scorers ever to stop on the court. His 81 point game might be the last time we see a player score that much.

As this list comes to an end, let’s be honest, Kobe Bryant’s greatest games could never be dwindled down to 5 or even 10 for that matter.  He has given Lakers fans and NBA fans everything he has and deserves nothing but respect.  The NBA will never be the same once Kobe decides to lace up his sneakers for the final time, but until that day comes, let’s keep turning on the TV and expect to see something amazing from #24.

Happy Birthday Black Mamba.
