William Hayes defensive end for the LA Rams has been traded to the Miami Dolphins.

William Hayes is a pillar to the foundation of the defense the Rams has built. They now can say by to having a top defense.

Yes they only lost one player, yet one player sometime makes a giant impact. He wasn’t their best player on defense. Also, not everyone has to be the best player on the team.

There are times where they just have to accomplish their job and that opens up doors for others to be great and make plays. William Hayes is a playmakers in ways the average fan doesn’t see.

He wrecked havoc with the Rams, now he will wreck havoc with the Dolphins in Miami. William Hayes is talented on many levels. He is quick, strong, and smart. Also, he in a way is able to be a decoy opening up holes for his teammates to make plays.

This is one way how he is a playmaker. Secondly, he is a playmaker by using his skills to beat the linemen and get to the quarterbacks. Yes he is a defensive end, yet he can even intercept the ball or swat it down. You can always see Hayes where the ball is as he has knack for that.

More from Los Angeles Rams

Last season he had 43 combined tackles, 31 total tackles, and 12 assisted tackles. Additionally, he had 7 strip fumbles along with 5 sacks. William Hayes is a veteran who has durability and stays healthy. He has been in the NFL for 9 seasons.

LA trading him does immediately hurt the defense, however they acquired two picks by trading him. This will help their team in the long haul, but they need to improve their team ASAP!

Lately the LA Rams have been busy finding ways to acquire picks and players through trades and free agency. Now gaining two more pick they will be able to improve their offense and trust the players they have on defense.
