Clippers rumors: Kristaps Porzingis intrigued by Los Angeles

Kristaps Porzingis is the brand new topic of Clippers rumors, after their early exit from the playoffs.

Many Clippers rumors that have surfaced since before the playoffs started are will each free agent remain in LA or depart to another team.  For the LA Clippers, all their starters are free agents.

You ask what does this mean? This means the Clippers may have to be in rebuilding mode. It all depends on what each free agent decides.

Additionally, this means that a rising star could end up playing in a Clippers uniform. There are many young rising stars in the NBA.

One rising star that is the topic in all of these Clippers rumors is Kristaps Porzingis of the New York Knicks. On his twitter profile, he posted this Saturday night.

Then Porzingis quickly deleted his post from his twitter account. Could this tweet be a foreshadow of the future for LA and the “Unicorn?” There has been trouble in New York from the owner down to the front office.

The team Phil Jackson has built in New York hasn’t agreed with him in many events. Therefore it is very possible we could see Porzingis leave and even end up in a Clippers uniform.

LA would be a great fit for him whether all the Clippers free agents leave or stay. Lob City has had trouble advancing past the first round of the playoffs and Porzingis wants to win championships.

Is he the star they have been searching for all the years to win a championship? Even Porzingis teammate Carmelo Anthony has had problems with Jackson.

It wouldn’t be a surprise to me to see Kristaps Porzingis in LA given the possible situations for both organizations.

Then comes the question how can Porzingis end up in LA amidst all these Clippers rumors since he isn’t a free agent? Of course, the answer is via trade.

New York would trade Porzingis and in return receive from LA J.J. Redick and Jamaal Crawford, two sharpshooters. This would benefit both teams. New York needs shooters while LA needs big men who can shoot and play defense.

Unfortunately, Sunday morning Porzingis updated his fans on twitter about his status Saturday night and he claimed he was hacked.

Hacked or not, Porzingis going to Lob City is an intriguing idea to entertain. For instance, how would he be able to land with the Clippers?

Secondly, then how would he help improve and change the Clippers for the better?

Lastly, he would add competition if all starters stay or become a new star for LA if the Clippers big men decide to leave.

Nonetheless, in all of these Clippers rumors can we see Kristaps Porzingis in a Clippers uniform in the near future?

Next: Who will be Lakers starting Center?

I say yes because things with the Knicks may fall apart sooner than they will be built.
