What makes it worth watching?

All or Nothing: A Season with the Los Angeles Rams is going to be much more than a boring recap of a lackluster season. It isn’t just an unimaginative spinoff of a lifeless Hard Knocks season. No, in fact, this season is quite the opposite. It looks to be an in-depth look at the first chapter of the Rams ascension to greatness.

Last season showed the Arizona Cardinals- a team that was already at its peak potential facing an open Super Bowl window. The season was exciting because you saw the Cardinals fight through the season to win a title and just barely fall short of doing so.

More from Los Angeles Rams

The Rams aren’t the same kind of team that the Cardinals were. The narrative is entirely different and more interesting. This season, the audience gets to be with the team behind-the-scenes and experience what the players go through.

They get to feel the joy of the players after beating the division-rival-Seahawks in week two. They get to feel the pain of the team and see what caused it all to go wrong. They get to hear the rousing chants in the huddle and the locker room speeches after each game.

They get a backstage pass to the personal lives of these NFL stars as they adapt to life in a brand new city. They get to go beyond the context of the sidelines and experience the real drama of football.

The hero’s journey is never a straightforward path. To defeat the foe, the hero must fail, and from that experience, grow. In the NFC West, where strong teams like the Seahawks and Cardinals reign, the Rams need to grow as a team to compete. This season was a season of struggle but it was the first step for LA towards becoming a potential superpower in the NFL.
