CLEVELAND, OH – MAY 21: Jae Crowder – Lakers Rumors

Now that the Celtics dealt Avery Bradley they could afford to bring in another shooting guard off the bench. Nobody really knows how the Celtics will line up next season with three small forwards in Jayson Tatum, Jae Crowder and now Gordon Hayward. While coach Brad Stevens went on the record to say they will run “three positions” on of these forwards will likely go.

More from Lakers Rumors

That forward more likely than not will be Crowder. Crowder is an above average player, however, he does not live up to Hayward or the hype that Tatum brings to the table. Crowder will likely find a new home in 2017, with Los Angeles being a great place to go.

Overall, the Lakers will be taking in near the same amount of money for the same amount of time but they will be adding more depth to their team. Crowder is great and would be a perfect tandem with Brandon Ingram and Marcus Smart has the potential to be something special.

While this deal may complicate things in the future with George potentially coming after this season, it is a deal that, once again, will give Ball even more weapons. The Lakers are seemingly all in on Lonzo Ball and they need to surround him with as much depth as they can.

Chances are this deal is highly unlikely, but Clarkson would be a fantastic fit in Boston. They need a scorer they can bring off the bench, or even start, and Clarkson gives them just that.

Next: Trades to get rid of Luol Deng

Overall, Jordan Clarkson seems to be the most expendable Laker. With the Lakers rumors continuing to swirl, the departure of Jordan Clarkson seems more and more evident.
